Visual feasting on Formentera...again

Here are two more lovely homes on Formentera.  They both look so cozy and confortable...I wish I was cooking up something yummy while enjoying a nice glass of Spanish wine!

Phillip Dixon's Home in Venice

Ever since my good friend told me about Phillip Dixon's home in Venice a couple of years ago, I have been wanting to share it.  I know its been featured many times, but I couldn't resist.  What I love about it, is that you would never know you are right smack in the middle of Venice (LA), for it is completely walled-in and the architecture and interior make you think you are in Morocco or some island off of Spain.  The three-bedroom home has endless natural light and a river-like pool that runs through the main rooms.  I like how it's possible you wouldn't notice if you are inside the house or out.

Getaway in Garzon

Check out this adorable bungalow located in the countryside in Garzon, Uruguay.  It is certainly packed with stuff, but it looks like they have everything you would ever need or want.  I love all of the windows and the natural light they give.

Magical Troncoso

I can't get enough of the homes that I am finding in Trancoso, a small fishing village on Brazil’s idyllic southern Bahian coast.   I would love to visit this lovely beach community; its on my list the next time I go to Brazil!

UXUA Casa Hotel has ten unique casas that are located in the historic center of Trancoso. Four casas are restored fishermen homes on the 16th century town square called the Quadrado, while six others sit in a lush garden. The casas were built using traditional building methods, reclaimed materials, and Brazilian antiques and art.

Another stunning home in Troncoso, is the house of Tierry Moriceau.  So simple and beautiful with a wonderful use of materials.

Jacare do Brasil Casas is a cluster of five distinctive homes with a communal pool.  The concept is that it provides all of the conveniences and services of a hotel, but within the privacy of a home.
